PROBLEM SEASON

/OVERVIEW

Problem Season – Building a portfolio website for an upcoming cinematographer from Eindhoven.

CHALLENGE

The client asked for a visually striking, easy to navigate, portfolio website. Besides design and coding work we also managed the hosting setup and basic SEO. For this project, we needed to design a simple website, that was fast and also easy to update with new work.

APPROACH

During the first design meeting with the client, we already landed on a certain design style for the website. After discussing the content and pages of the website, we created our initial concept and shared it with the client. We followed up this concept with an interactive prototype.

We built the website using WordPress combined with the Divi theme. We also made sure the website could be used as a PWA; Progressive Web App.

WEB DESIGN

Updated website design to match the new identity.

We updated the outdated website with a fresh new design inspired by the new logo and brand identity. In the website, we used a lot of organic shapes to match the rounded corners in the logo.

PROBLEM

/ SOLUTION

01/

Create a new, bold versatile logo for Eventsoft.

With the use of Snapchat lenses and the physical codes, we created an unique AR experience to promote the new clothing of PRJCT Studio

02/

Implement a new website design, whilst maintaining the content distribution of the old website.

To accompany the clothing aspect of our pop-up we asked three of our PGI graphic designers and photographer to display their best work. Together with the beats from JFRY we showcased the potential and skills of our creators.

03/

Streamline the user journey on and from the website.

High-performance media and assets served by Adobe’s best-in-class media management tools.

04/

Creating a new brand identity.

We decided to build and use various assets to decorate the space in The Student Hotel. With a custom build cash register, custom painted backdrop, t-shirt display, and our TV installation we had various eye-catchers.
